Jovon Miller is a tap dancer who has a style all his own which fuses elements from other dance forms - such as hip hop - into his dancing. He was one of two dance recipients to receive the Congressional Black Caucus Spouses Heineken USA Performing Arts Award for the 2009-2010 year and has performed for members of Congress, Tyler Perry, King 5 news, the Congressional Black Caucus Spouses, and many other notable people.
Jovon's mission is to utilize his gifts in order to create artists and give them performance opportunities while teaching life lessons through dance.
WWU Dance alumni Jovon Miller will strive to do to the floor and your ears with his electrifying movements and sounds what Michelangelo did to the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel with his astonishing colors and lines.
