Images in weaving have traditionally been created mainly by tapestry and Ikat. Tapestry is an additive way (weft-faced) to create images, and Ikat is a subtractive way (resist dyeing). Enjoy the extraordinary work and skill that each artist developed individually. It is an amazing opportunity to learn about the talent from Tapestry Artists of Puget Sound and show my students’ Ikat works together.
