Study the Arts of Italy

Summer Abroad 2019

June 29-July 21

Rome • Florence • Siena • Tuscany • Venice

After a week of initial classwork in Bellingham, the course will travel for three weeks throughout central and northern Italy, moving physically and educationally from Roman antiquity through the height of the Renaissance, to contemporary art works from all over the world. The class ends in Venice at the Biennale – the oldest and largest contemporary art fair in the world. This class is led by professor Cara Jaye and Instructor Mariah Klemens.

Italy Art Workshop

This is a 8-credit course. There are no required prerequisites. The class is tailored to varying levels from the beginning to the advanced.
