"Airings...voices of our youth" is a dance/ theatre piece created by Kuntz and Company that explores the pressures young people face in the formative years of Middle and High School. The power of Airings lies in the true stories of these young people expressing their thoughts and their feelings in their words. Ideas explored in Airings include gender, sexuality, bullying, forgiveness, friendship, love, and hope. This performance offers insight into the lives of young people and may be particularly helpful for future and current teachers, health and helping professionals, parents, and youth themselves. Airings was created in partnership with staff from the Bellingham and Mount Baker School Districts, faculty from WWU's Psychology Department, and more than twenty teenagers from our community.
