About
The Art Drop project started when a vending machine from the late 50’s was donated to the Art & Art History Department. Students started vending small artworks through the machine.
Though eventually retirement by increasing maintenance issues, that vending machine was the start of a project that has extended through years of Professional Practices classes and it’s legacy will forever be instilled in the Art Drop iterations to come.
Professional Practice students continue to work together to keep this project going by replacing machines, choosing locations, creating events to host, and managing other important things in relation to this project. The students running this drop are also even creating more work to include in the machines.
