WWU Department of Music presents a concert by the Classical/Baroque ensemble Collegium Musicum. The theme for the concert is the Northern Lights: 18th Century Music from Scandinavia and the Baltic. The works include a Russian overture by Yevstigny Fomin (Russia), a world premiere of an Oboe Concerto by Johann Friedrich Grenser (Sweden), a symphony by Johan Daniel Berlin (Norway), and a Wedding Cantata by Johann Gottlieb Naumann (Denmark). The concert will last about 55 minutes in length. The Collegium Classical Period orchestral ensemble is conducted by Mika Armaly, Caty Cook, and Dr. Bertil van Boer. This event is free and begins at 7:30 PM in the PAC Concert Hall.
