The Western Washington University Collegium Musicum will present its annual concert on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 8 PM in the Performing Arts Center Concert Hall.
Featured will be unusual and rare music by Johann Friedrich Grenser (the 18th century Carl Nielsen), Joseph Martin Kraus (the Swedish Mozart), Anton Filz (he who ingested poisonous spiders), and Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach. The last will be his magnificent ode Morgengesang.
Conductors will be Casey Mullin, Johnathon Lyons, and Dr. Bertil van Boer, with soprano soloists Iris Cohn, Lissa Halsinger, Nia Pristas, and Caitlin Nuckols.
Join us for this wonderful and tuneful beginning to the music of the Christmas season.
