Join us from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. a fun afternoon where we will play in bassoon ensembles and try out bassoon bocals from Forrests Music, Nielsen Bocal Supply and Midwest Musical Imports.

This event is for all bassoonists interested in finding just the right bocal for their instrument. We will have Leitzinger and Heckel bocals available to try in several different settings so you get a full understanding of what the bocal has to offer. You can try the bocals in our trial rooms, in a bassoon ensemble and even in our concert hall.

WWU bassoon professor, Pat Nelson and Seattle bassoonist, Elaine Mee-Sun Walters will be working with all participants.
