Ethyn McLaughlin, in collaboration with Rachel Roulet, will perform a virtual senior recital featuring works by Reynaldo Hahn, Mansel Thomas, and Donald Swann. A PDF of the program will be available for download during the event. Ethyn McLaughlin is a senior majoring in Music Education and Vocal Performance. He has studied with Holly Alcorn during his time at WWU, and he looks forward to continuing his personal and artistic growth as he transitions into the post-college landscape. Ethyn is the founder and President of the WWU Student NATS Chapter & Club, a section leader in the WWU Concert Choir, a proud member of Western Voices, and a former member of Western's ACDA Student Chapter Board, not to mention his roles in WWU's Opera program, where he played Lucano in L'incoronazione di Poppea, and Orpheus in this year's production of Orpheus In the Underworld. Ethyn is also a proud proponent of language revivals and minority languages worldwide; in that spirit, Ethyn and Rachel have prepared pieces in Venetian Italian, Welsh, English, and Elvish for this recital. We hope you enjoy.
