The Music Department livestream equipment has exceeded its useful life. Thanks to generous donors, we've raised the funds to replace it. We're working to install the new equipment and train student employees to use it. We anticipate streaming will resume during Spring of 2026.

The WWU Guitar Area presents "Bach to the Future" - a time-warping program of solo and ensemble works for plucked strings.

Solo selections include new works from student composers alongside gems from the Spanish and Latin American traditions.

The WWU Guitar Ensemble - which includes mandolin, ukulele, classical, steel string, and bass guitar - showcases new student arrangements of preludes from J.S. Bach's "Well Tempered Clavier" and "Brandenburg Concerto No. 3".

The evening program is rounded out by conductor Eli Schille-Hudson's new arrangements of John Adams, Domenico Scarlatti, Dušan Bogdanovic, and Jean-Philippe Rameau. Schille-Hudson's arrangements continue to find resonances between the music of the baroque and the music of the present day.
