About the concert program

We envisioned the program as the panorama of music by Serbian and American female composers, ending with the luminous J. S. Bach’s Concerto for two keyboards and strings. The whole program offers depth, liveliness, humor and a variety of expressions.

Dragana Jovanović's charming dances, as well as the American premier of Milana Stojadinović Milić's "Tango per due," exude charm and grace; the musical story of "The Poet on Boat" - by Ivana Stefanović in an American premier -  takes us to a new world, and the suite of the American romantic composer Amy Beach exudes rich inspiration and virtuosity.

Natasha Bogojevich's work "Formes differentes de Sonneries de la Rose+Croix" was inspired by Eric Satie's miniatures, which the composer transforms into a new sonority and a completely personal expression, while the all times classic Bach magnificently combines sounds of two keyboards and strings in this sparkly piece.
