Indigenous People's Day. Lummi glass artist Raya Friday will demonstrate the process of mold making and glass etching as she works on a cast glass project. As she works, she will field questions from the audience and discuss finished examples of her work that will be on display. Friday, whose recent exhibit at the Pilchuck Glass School Gallery in Seattle just closed, will explain the challenges and benefits of working with glass and how her Coast Salish heritage has influenced her style.
