Lauren Waldron is a senior viola performance major, studying under Joe Gottesman. Lauren started playing viola at 9 years old at Hamilton Elementary in Port Angeles, Washington. She began studying at Western Washington University in 2019. Since moving to Bellingham, Lauren has been an active member of the Western Symphony Orchestra and Western Ambassador String Quartet. She is looking forward to performing and doing freelance work as she gets ready to apply and audition for Graduate school. She is also excited to be a camp counselor this summer at the Olympic Strings Workshop in her hometown of Port Angeles.
