As the narrative director for Seattle videogame studio Bungie’s massive hit Destiny 2, WWU Theatre Arts alum Alison Lührs and her team are responsible for creating, maintaining, updating and populating the virtual domain of planets, bases, asteroids, and derelict spaceships that 90 million (!) people have called home.
Join Department Chair Rich Brown for a discussion with Alison about her journey from high school theatre to Western to her work in the Seattle Theatre scene that eventually led to her career in gaming at Bungie, one of the largest gaming companies in the country.
Alison will receive the WWU Outstanding Young Alumni Award on May 15.
