The Department of Art & Art History at Western Washington University will present “Vinculum,” a group exhibition of advanced studio work. The exhibition is on display from November 28 to December 7 at the B Gallery, located on the first floor of the WWU Fine Arts Building in room 118.
An opening reception will take place at the B Gallery on Tuesday, Nov. 28 at 5 p.m. Music and refreshments will be provided for guests, who are encouraged to meet and speak with the artists about the work on display.
In mathematics, a vinculum is a horizontal line drawn over symbols to indicate their infinite repetition. While the artists have developed individual bodies of work, their featured artworks unify with the theme of repetition and pattern. The exhibition features the artwork of Ivan Androshchuk, Anastasia DeVol, Jess Ibsen, Ruby Jones, Cecilia Karoly-Lister, Matt Martin, Robert Miller, Keara Mulvihill, Karlyn Nourse, Brooke Radcliffe, Valerie Ragsdale, Ellery von Dassow, Marcus Waterman, Jennie Wong, M Wong, Stephen Wood.
The B Gallery is found by entering the Fine Arts building from the entrance immediately across from Carver, passing to the right of the main office, and down the accessibility ramp. The gallery is on the left at the bottom of the ramp. For disability accommodation, contact (360) 650-3660 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Information about visiting campus and parking.
