Open to all at no cost

In lieu of an admission fee, we encourage you to make a donation to the James Lortz Theatre Enrichment Fund to support future theatre-makers here at Western.

Time and Location

Cameras will turn on early for set up. The event starts at 7:30pm.

The Friday, April 8 livestream includes automated captions. Copies of the script are available as a PDF per request. Email your request for a script to Kamarie Chapman at least 24 hours in advance.

About the Spring 2022 Playreading Series

The Department of Theatre and Dance celebrates a long tradition of a robust playwrighting program. Please join us for live readings of these new scripts written by current WWU students and alumni; many of which are regionally acclaimed by the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. The Spring 2022 season was directed by the incredible Aviona Rodriguez Brown.
