These two programs both feature composers of great diversity: American Indian Jerod Impichchaachaaha Tate, African American Adolphus Hailstork, Asian Toru Takemitsu, American George Whitefield Chadwick, European Gustav Mahler. Yet the programs work so harmoniously as a whole.

The theme of this concert is the healing power of music in difficult times.

During shortened, physically spaced out rehearsals, we noticed our musicians light up from the dark cloud of isolation and uncertainty. The heart-warming vibe of making music as a group filled the concert hall with therapeutic joy that expressed itself in their music. We'd like to spread this joy to you.

 

There’s no need to drive, dress up, find a nanny, [be] stuck in a seat, try not to cough too loud, or even hold your dancing feet!
