The Western Washington Percussion Festival was founded in 2011 by directors, Kay Reilly, Brad Hendry and Jacob Scherr to provide a venue for high school percussion ensembles and drumlines to perform for one another and share ideas. It has grown to become a highlight of the percussion calendar at WWU each year and includes over 200 participating high school percussionists.
Schedule
- 8:30 am HS Percussion Ensembles perform (Concert Hall)
- 10:30am WWU Percussion Ensemble (Concert Hall)
- 12:00pm Drumlines perform on the PAC Plaza
For more information, or if you are a high school director and would like to have your percussion ensemble/drumline participate in the festival, please email Pat Roulet.
