Schedule
- 8:00 - 8:30am: High Schools check in
- 8:30 - 11:00am: Ensemble Performances
- 11:50am - 12:15pm: Performance by WWU Percussion Ensemble
- 12:15 - 12:50pm: Lunch Break
- 1:00 - 1:50pm: Patrick Roulet - drumming and xylophone music from Ghana
- 2:00 - 2:30pm: Drumline performances on the plaza & mass drumline
This is the 12th Annual SJMEA/Western Washington Day of Percussion hosted by Western Washington University and the San Juan Music Educators Association
Participating high school percussion ensembles will perform throughout the morning followed by the WWU Percussion Ensemble directed by Dr. Haley Nutt. WWU percussion professor, Patrick Roulet will share music and stories from his recent trip to Ghana. The day will wrap up with high school drumlines at 2:00pm.
