The WWU Symphony Orchestra opens its 2017-2018 concert season with an international program of music, including the frenetic Danzón No. 2 by Mexican composer Arturo Marquez, Maurice Ravel's vividly imaginative Ma mère l'Oye (Mother Goose), and the magisterial "Drumroll" Symphony by the Classical master Joseph Haydn.
Arturo Marquez: Danzón No. 2
Maurice Ravel: Ma mère l'Oye
Joseph Haydn: Symphony No. 103 in E-flat Major (“Drumroll”)
