For our final performance of the 2020-21 season, the strings of the WWU Symphony Orchestra present a program of American masterpieces, including Pulitzer Prize winner Ellen Taafe Zwilich’s stark and hard-edged Prologue and Variations, William Grant Still’s gorgeous impression of Sargent Johnson’s 1932 painting Mother and Child, and John Adams’ kaleidoscopic tour-de-force, Shaker Loops. Attendance at the live performance is capped at 30 and limited to students, faculty, and staff already approved to be on campus. Attendees must register in advance.
