Piano Day

Currently accepting applications for High School Students for Western Washington University Piano Day on Saturday, September 15, 2018.

Presented by Western's piano faculty, Piano Day at WWU is a piano day camp for high school age pianists. All students will benefit from coaching in private studio lessons, tours of the Piano department (including keyboard lab, sight-reading class, grand piano practice rooms, the Music Library, etc.). Selected students will perform at the masterclass in the Concert Hall. At the end of the day, faculty will present a recital. Read more about the piano and keyboard program.

  • The registration deadline is September 1.
  • The registration fee is $50 if we receive your registration by August 20. After August 20, the registration fee will be $60.

  • 8:30 - 9 a.m. Registration
  • 9 a.m. -12 p.m. Private lessons and Selection for masterclass (PA 52, 101, 172)
  • 12 - 12:50 p.m. Tour: Keyboard Lab, Sight Reading Class, Organ, Piano Practice Rooms, Music Library
  • 1 - 2 p.m. Lunch (FREE!, pizza and salad)
  • 2 - 3:30 p.m. Masterclass (Concert Hall) –up to 6 participants
  • 4 - 5 p.m. Faculty Recital (Concert Hall)
