Art Department 2026 Biennial opens April 9
From April 9 through May 2, the Western Gallery is pleased to present the Art Department 2026 Biennial featuring work by art faculty and staff. Highlighting twenty artists, the exhibition showcases the diverse studio practices of these highly respected mentors and includes painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, installation, video, and mixed media.
The opening reception is Thursday, April 16 from 5 to 7 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public, and complimentary parking is available in Lot 17G.

April 15: Discussion with Brian Nigus, Jennifer Anable, Ryan Kelly, Paul Bernhardt, and Scott Kolbo
April 20: Discussion with Amy Simons, Ashley Mask, Peter Rand, Seiko Purdue, Vian Nguyen, and Garth Amundson
April 27: Artist Talk with Doug Loewen
April 30: Discussion with Cara Jaye, Christoper Hartshorne, Cynthia Camlin, Lisa Turner, and Sasha Petrenko
