Design Days 2022 features Camila Gomez, Ariel Costa, Leo Franchi and live demos by Iron Street Printing

The Western Washington University Department of Design announces Design Days 2022!

With events already in full swing, there's plenty to take in.

Wednesday, May 11, Camila Gomez offers a presentation via Zoom at 3 p.m. Gomez is a graphic designer raised in the Coffee region of Columbia. Her clients include Netflix, Beats by Dre, Ecos, Coachella, and Rosewood.

On May 17 starting at noon, Bellingham's own Iron Street Printing will do live demos of screen printing in front of the Fine Arts Building. Stop by and check it out!

Thursday, May 19 at 5 p.m., motion designer Ariel Costa will give a Zoom presentation. With over 14 years in the Motion Graphics industry, Ariel had the chance to collaborate with great clients such as Marvel Animation, Spotify, Adidas, Warner, Focus Films, Netflix, The New York Times, Pinterest, Facebook among great others.

Costa returns for a hands-on workshop via Zoom on Friday, May 20 at 10 a.m.

Animation Director and Illustrator Leo Franchi's awards include golds and silvers from the Tellys and Promax BDA has exhibited in New York, Paris, and Buenos Aires. Franchi will give a Zoom talk on Wednesday, May 25 at 3 p.m.
