The class is filling quickly, and we can only bring 12 students - so please join us if you can in person or via Zoom for information on the Summer 2023 Metro Art Access global study in NYC.

We’ll cover all the details concerning course content, credits, travel, and overview of this exciting course.

This 6-credit WP-1 course offers Art/Non-Majors the opportunity to visit New York City with two practicing artists and faculty members familiar with the city. Students will participate in a variety of activities ranging from touring major public museums and institutions, such as The MET, MoMA, and the Whitney Museum of American Art designed by Renzo Piano (opened spring of 2015), to exclusive visits with artists, curators, and gallery owners. Using NYC as the classroom students will learn by experiencing celebrated historic and contemporary art in one of the world’s largest art centers.

No prerequisites are required, and we invite and welcome students and members of the community from all fields of study. The primary course objective is to introduce participants to a wide variety of galleries and museums in one of the world’s largest art centers.

Learn more about the trip details on our blog.

Please join us Wednesday, February 1 at 6 p.m.
