Milica Jelača Jovanović to performs solo in seattle concert "Where in the World"

Milica Jelača Jovanović, pianist and Professor of Piano at Western was a soloist for the rarely performed work Piano Concert No. 1, by Shostakovich. Lake Union Civic Orchestra presented their second concert of the season: Where in the World. The concert featured the rarely performed work Piano Concerto No. 1, by Shostakovich. The performance marked the 50th anniversary of the composer's death. Patrick Hunninghake, principal trumpet for the Puget Sound Symphony Orchestra, also soloed in the piece.
