Music's Heather Dudenbostel headlines Nov. 7 Bellingham Music Club concert

On Friday, November 7 at 7:30 p.m., Soprano Heather Dudenbostel of Western's Music voice faculty, will be joined by baritone/pianist Mark Davies, pianist Emily Gantt, sopranos Ibidunni Ojikutu and Celeste Fraser, mezzo-soprano Elizabeth Feeney, and clarinetist Erika Block, to celebrate art song, grand opera and Broadway in a concert presented by the Bellingham Music Club.

The repertoire includes an English adaptation by Isaiah Bell of Poulenc's one-woman opera La voix humaine; selections from Ricky Ian Gordon's Autumn Valentine; and favorite opera arias by Mozart, Rossini, Bizet, Verdi, and Dvořák, to name a few. The concert will end with a song from the musical The Bridges of Madison County.

The concert is at First Congregational Church, 2401 Cornwall Ave. in Bellingham. No ticket purchase required; we suggest a $20 donation. All are welcome and students are always free.
