Summer Art/Art History Program in Japan 2016

Dates: June 22 through July 11, 2016

Open to all students.

Prerequisite: Completion of an entry-level art history course and ART110 or instructor permission. (For students taking the class for Art History credit, they need to take one entry-level art history class. For students taking the course for Art credit, they need to take ART 110.)Image removed.

Highlights include a tea ceremony in Kyoto, and papermaking in Fukui - unforgettable and unique opportunities. We'll visit Kyoto Seika University and Nishijin weaving center. While in Tokyo, we'll explore contemporary fashion, advertising, and architecture.
