Western Washington University is pleased to host TRANSFIXED | TRANSMEDIA, the 2014 Society for Photographic Education's Northwest Regional Conference. This conference seeks to explore, embrace, and question the ever-expanding definitions of photography. This conference will dissect the past, present, and future of photographic practices as they relate to the constant redefinition of the field by featuring speakers, students, practitioners, theorists, and historians who are actively pushing the boundaries of the medium.
