Western Summer Theatre in 3rd season of revival

In the third season of its revival, Western Summer Theatre offers a broad line-up of plays for both traditional theatre-goers and more eclectic audiences at prices everyone can afford.

From July 27-29 at the Firehouse Performing Arts Center, Nolan Dennett offers his lovely and whimsical Graffiti Dance Theatre.

August 9-13, the timeless comedy of marital friction "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change" will play on the Mainstage.

Director and deviser Rich Brown will bring his energetic eclecticism to Bellingham at the speed of bike in the perigyratic "Bicycle Noir" taking place throughout Bellingham August 16-20.

"Angel Food Cake" - a thoughtful, quirky new play about coming home with your tattered dreams - plays in the DUG underground Theatre August 23-27.

The season closes with a concert staging of the moving and musically stunning "The Secret Garden, the musical" with book and lyrics by Marsha Norman and music by Lucy Simon - directed by Heather Dudenbostel. It plays three performances only on the Mainstage Sept. 1-3.

"Bicycle Noir" is free and open to all at no cost. Tickets for the other performances range from $10-19 - with deep student discounts at $6-10 per performance (depending on performance and availability).
