Alex Egner earned his BFA in Communication Design from the University of North Texas and, after working in the Dallas-Ft.Worth area as an advertising art director and graphic designer, obtained his MFA in Design: Visual Communications from Virginia Commonwealth University. His work has been exhibited, honored, and/or published by the Addys, AIGA, Communication Arts, Creative Quarterly, Dallas Society of Visual Communications, Graphis, HOW Magazine, Logo Lounge, Print Magazine, and The Type Directors Club. His book, Experience Passport, was published by Chronicle Books in 2014.
