Beth Leonard, MFA
About
Beth Leonard is a native Missourian and was previously the Dean of the School of Performing Arts at Stephens College in Columbia, MO. Beth has spent a career straddling the worlds of professional and academic theatre. She was the Artistic Director of the Okoboji Summer Theatre in Spirit Lake, IA for fifteen years and has acted and directed throughout the Midwest. Beth is also a produced playwright and enjoys the recording studio as a voice over talent. She holds a BS in Secondary Education, Theatre from the University of Kansas, an MA in Theatre from the University of Central Missouri, an MFA from the University of Missouri, Kansas City and is ABD in Theatre from the University of Kansas. It is with unimaginable pleasure that Beth joins the amazing Theatre and Dance Department, and looks forward to a challenging and exciting year.
