About

Ashley is thrilled to work with such passionate and dynamic artists in the Theatre and Dance faculty, as well as her exceptional teammates among the administrative and production staff. Ashley grew up in Spokane, WA and moved to Bellingham to pursue a BMus in Vocal Performance from WWU in 2009. After graduating in 2013, she started her career as a Music Director, accompanist, and actress in the Bellingham area, which included working on productions for The Neighborhood Playhouse (A Year with Frog and Toad, Go, Dog, Go!), Mt. Baker Theater (The Fantasticks, Little Shop of Horrors), and the Bellingham Theatre Guild (A Chorus Line).  In 2014, she joined the Theatre and Dance Department as their Program Coordinator and Resident Music Director and has loved every minute since! Productions she has worked on for Western and Western Summer Theatre include: Urinetown, Nunsense, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change!, Young Frankenstein, Fun Home, Spitfire Grill, Working, and James and the Giant Peach

As the Program Coordinator for the Theatre and Dance Department, Ashley is a resource for students and faculty alike, where she can assist individuals in navigating many of the nuanced areas within the college and programs. Whether it's declaring a major/minor, creating a schedule before registration begins, or finding what resources are available, she's happy to help those who are interested in getting involved in the performing arts! Anyone is welcome to schedule an appointment or drop by the office with any questions they have!
