In your letter, address how you meet all of these criteria. Include your major and professional goals.

1. Must be a student in the fine and performing arts whose work shows promise of a professional career; OR a student majoring in education who plans to teach one of the disciplines in fine or performing arts

2. Have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA

3. Be a resident of Whatcom County

4. Be a graduate of a Whatcom County high school (state in your letter which school)

5. Be a continuing or returning student at Western
