Commedia in the Park

Performances in the Park

Presented by WWU Theatre students enrolled in the summer course “Advanced Acting Topics” taught by Rich Brown, “Commedia” is a highly physicalized, masked comic performance originating from the Italian Renaissance. The show features well-known stock characters such as the tricky servants, young lovers, and foolish old men. The show takes place on the lawn of the Maritime Heritage Park in the summer, usually in early July. All are welcome! It's FREE!
