After a pandemic-forced hiatus, Western faculty musicians Erika Block, Pat Nelson, and Jennifer Weeks have joined with community members to re-launch the Bellingham Chamber Music Society. The 2022-23 season has just been announced.

"We spent the last year working on our website, our logo, gathering musicians, dreaming up our first season, finding a new home," says Weeks.

The first concert of the season is September 18. All but one of the concerts will take place in the Hotel Leo Crystal Ballroom. The exception is a special March 11 concert featuring the BJ Block Trio at the Blue Room.

Concerts will include performances by other Western faculty musicians as well, including Gustavo Camacho (horn), Eli Schille-Hudson (guitar), and Eric Kean (viola).

Complete programs, single and season tickets and more information can be found at the Bellingham Chamber Music Society website.

"We are super excited! And feel like we have created something new and sparkly and awesome."
