About

From 1979 to 1985, Mark Kuntz was the artistic director of Sandy Actors Theatre in Oregon. In 1986, he graduated from University of Oregon with an MA in theatre. For ten years he served on the theatre faculty of Eastern Oregon University.

He joined the theatre faculty of Western Washington University in 1996. A well respected director in Bellingham, Mark has been the producing director of the 1500-seat Mount Baker Theatre for many years and the Artistic Director of their repertory theatre.

Mark has directed over 125 plays around the nation, including productions at the Kennedy Center, Eastern Oregon University, University of Oregon, Western Washington University, and the Mount Baker Theatre. For six years he was department chair of theatre arts at WWU and he has served in various capacities at the Kennedy Center.
