Western Gallery entrance: a glass room nestled in a corner between wings of a brick building

SOUND.OUT.RADIO is a radio art station streaming online, and from the roof of the Fine Arts Building. This is an experimental sound art platform run by faculty and students from the Department of Art and Art History.

You can listen to the station online, or hear it as you pass the entrance to the Western Gallery. There are speakers on the roof of the glass atrium.

"It's a special mix, sometimes surprising and strange, sometimes soothing and serene," says Sasha Petrenko, Assistant Professor of Sculpture and Expanded Media. "After dark we play more avant-garde tracks, some underground classics." SOUND.OUT.RADIO always takes requests.
