There are many ways to get to Western. We encourage alternative transportation to reduce strain on the environment and limited parking. Enjoy views of the bay and Bellingham's sumptuous greenery along the way! While you're here, grab a refreshment at on-campus dining locations, and peruse the famous outdoor sculpture collection.
If you decide to drive, please consider carpooling!
Some people choose to park elsewhere and walk or ride the bus to campus. Blue Line WTA buses route through campus and the bus station downtown 15 minutes, including a stop in front of the Performing Arts Center. This is a great option if you'd like to visit a restaurant, cafe, bar, brewery, or do some shopping before or after an event.
Take a self-guided tour through campus for enlightenment and inspiration. The outdoor sculpture collection is open to the public to enjoy any time. Indoor sculptures are publicly viewable when campus buildings are open.
Stop that grumble in your belly and stay punctual for your event! Markets and cafes throughout campus are open to the public. Check out the menus, locations and hours of each one.
Campus building hours may change during summer, intersessions (between term dates), breaks and holidays.
Parking is free in the C lots on evenings (after 4:30pm) and weekends.
