Nathan Streifel is a creative based in Los Angeles who enjoys working in a variety of mediums and disciplines. As an actor he has appeared on TV Shows and films including We Have a Ghost, Night Court, 911: Lone Star, The Other Two, Punky Brewster, GLOW, LA --> Vegas, A Little Late with Lilly Singh, and I'm Fine. He appeared in the interactive digital choose your own adventure The Octopus as well as Sessions/Isolations in collaboration with Cock and Bull Arts. Nathan is an alumnus of the Dead Parrots Society improv group at WWU, which won the National College Improv Tournament during his tenure. He is a graduate of the iO Conservatory improvisation program, and has performed improv at many venues around Chicago. He was also a devising member and performer in The American Family at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

As a writer Nathan’s 10 minute play Bouquet was featured in Meet Cute LA. He has written and directed dozens of digital comedy shorts, and is currently working on an original fairy tale short story collection.

Nathan is also a classical pianist and songwriter. He has written original songs for Voolf with Cock and Bull Arts and The Boy Who Hates Everything which will premiere at Hope College in the Spring of 2023.

Nathan is excited to be working with students at Western to help foster creative resilience and artistic authenticity, as well as strengthen the WWU -> LA connection. He received his BA in Theatre and Psychology from WWU, and his MFA in Acting from DePaul University.
