Vienna-based fortepianist Daniel Adam Maltz will give a masterclass on Classical-era repertoire with a special emphasis put on issues of style and performance practice from a historical perspective. Pianists will perform on a modern piano while being taught from the fortepiano.

Fortepianist Daniel Adam Maltz is based in Vienna and studied Historical Performance at the Royal Academy of Music in London and at Vienna’s University for Music and Performing Arts. He performs on historic Viennese fortepianos, utilizing the vast range of tones, colors, and techniques familiar to Classical era composers.

Daniel Adam Maltz is presenting a workshop on Tuesday, February 28th, and a concert on Wednesday, March 1st
