Iris Cohn, in collaboration with Jay Rozendaal, will perform a virtual junior recital featuring works by Handel, Alfvén, Ives, and Duparc.
A PDF of the program will be available for download during the event.
Iris Cohn is a junior at Western majoring in Vocal Performance. She studies with Professor Holly Alcorn.
Growing up in Portland, Oregon, Iris played violin before becoming enamored with choir and solo voice in high school. During her time at Western, she has found great joy participating as a member of Concert Choir and Western Voices. She has loved being a part of other musical events during her two years at Western, including participating in two Opera Scenes productions and collaborating with a composition student for a Composers of Western concert.
She is incredibly grateful for the support of her professors and peers, and for the work of WWU's staff who have contributed to make this live-streamed recital possible.
