Jen returns home to plan her dream wedding to her fiancée, Macy. She asks Della, bakery owner and close family friend with conservative values, to make their wedding cake. Jen's coming out leads to Della and her husband reexamining their own marriage and Jen and Macy grappling with their own needs. What does it mean to be true to ourselves; if we change, will our loved ones still be by our side?
