The String Sinfonia welcomes back live audiences with a concert that blends delightful, underperformed gems with well-known staples of the string orchestra repertoire.
Under new director Dr. James Ray, the orchestra presents Hindemith’s Five Pieces for String Orchestra and Grieg’s Two Elegiac Melodies.
Bookending the concert are works by Classic era contemporaries: Joseph Boulonge, Chevalier de Saint-George (String Quartet No. 3 in G minor), and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Eine kleine Nachtmusik).
We’ll see you there!
