Antonia Pristas, in collaboration with Rachel Roulet, will perform a senior recital featuring works in Portuguese, Czech, Swedish, and more. This performance will also feature the Advanced Treble Chorale, an auditioned large ensemble that performs music from around the world, music representing historically resilient populations, and music from the large body of published music readily available for treble voices.
Antonia Pristas is a senior at Western Washington University pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Choral Music Education, with minors in International Studies and Salish Sea Studies. She hails from Kodiak, Alaska and has spent most of her life singing in choirs. In her time at Western, she has sung in the Advanced Treble Chorale, Western Voices, and Concert Choir, under the direction of Dr. Angela Kasper and Timothy Fitzpatrick. Antonia has had the opportunity to sing under the tutelage of Kathryn Weld and has assistant music-directed three operas while at Western.
