Explore the music that shaped the 20th century. Jazz is an iconic, originally American artform. Jazz 202 is offered online asynchronous in Summer 2023 at Western Washington University.

Jazz 202 online (CRN 30367) is a great course for students thinking about the Jazz minor in the Music Department. It's also a HUM GUR - three credits - available to anyone interested in learning more about this unique American music.

The course was created by Associate Professor of Jazz, Kevin Woods. Woods leads the jazz ensembles at Western and is an accomplished and recorded jazz trumpeter with a deep knowledge and love of the subject.
